Projects

Maker is much more than a union; it is what holds all of our projects, from our yearly festival to our other events, together under one roof. You can read more about our three different 'areas of expertise' underneath.

Every year, the maker festival, Copenhagen Maker takes place in Copenhagen. The festival focusses on a current society thematic. In 2016, it was the maker methodologies' society developing potentials, and this year the theme is Society 4.0, where we investigate the society of the future with all its digitalization, artificial intelligence and changed living conditions.

UNDERBROEN is a lab suited for urban production. In the workshop, new as well as traditional production technologies and companies, individuals and self-employed share ideas, knowledge and competences. UNDERBROEN is a center of local production and open source knowledge sharing. As a result of this, will be co-hosting Fab City Global Summit 2017.

Throughout the year, Maker hosts several different external events. Some examples of this are:

  • Makerspace at Roskilde Festival
  • Innovation workshops with focus on prototyping
  • Teambuilding for i.a. Dansk Metal
  • Learning process related to digital competences, e.g. CAD-drawing
